Mary has had a 25-year career as an RN, graduating from KSU’s School of Nursing Cum Laude, in 1997.  She focused her nursing career on end-of-life care, specializing as a Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse.  She served the community in a variety of settings in private hospices, Wellstar Community Hospice and Kaiser Permanente’s Palliative Care Team.  She had especially loved serving patients and families in their homes and in inpatient units.  Mary believes that working with dying patient’s and their families was a fulfillment of God’s Will for her life and that God was the guiding principle in her nursing practice.  Mary retired from nursing in 2021 but retirement didn’t last long, as she felt the need to serve in God’s Will again and found Mind and Body Christian Health Group as a ministry of others serving in the Christian Faith.  She is pleased to serve in the capacity of Medical Office Assistant and Scribe to Dr. Katherine Taylor.

Mary is married to Joe for 25 years and they have 2 beautiful young adult children and 4 dogs.  Mary loves all things “dachshund” and gardening is her favorite hobby.
