Stephanie Marshall is a Licensed Professional Counselor focusing on adults, marriage, family health, children, early adolescence, and the relationship between children and parents. She earned a Bachelor’s in Sociology at Georgia Southern University and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Mercer University.
Stephanie has a passion for serving in the community and a calling to help children in under-served areas. Every summer as a teenager, Stephanie traveled with her youth group to Tennessee and had the privilege of building houses for families in need and sharing the Good News through Bible school camps for children in the neighborhood. She also traveled to Bulgaria on two mission trips with her church, visiting and entertaining children living in orphanages. Through these experiences, Stephanie felt God’s calling to the field of mental health counseling specializing in youth.
Between undergraduate and graduate school, Stephanie served as a Student.go intern for two Cooperative Baptist Fellowship missionaries in the Grant Park neighborhood in downtown Atlanta. Stephanie aided in creating an after school program and literacy camps to help meet needs in the community. Stephanie loved getting to know the city of Atlanta better and advocating for the youth she had the honor of meeting.
Stephanie has experience providing play therapy to children involved with the Department of Child and Family Services; facilitating family therapy for youth on probation; and helping individuals with improving their relationships, mood, and in processing traumas.
In her free time, Stephanie loves spending time with her husband and toddler. She loves exploring new restaurants and attractions in Atlanta. Stephanie comes from a Disney-obsessed family so be sure to ask her how many times she’s been to Disney World!
