Terry Cantrell, CPC

Certified Pastoral Counselor

Terry is a graduate of Georgia State University with a degree in psychology.  Following college he worked for Lockheed Aeronautical Systems Company in Marietta as an Offsite Plants Coordinator and Program Management Analyst.  In fall of 1997 he received a call to ministry and joined the staff of large and thriving local church.

While serving in ministry, he has been deeply involved in leadership development, small group ministry and pastoral care.  Under his leadership, Terry has developed several Christian healing ministries that have served several thousand people in our local community and across the Southeast.  He has trained over 300 lay volunteers in prayer and inner healing ministry.

Terry has a deep love for people and is passionate about helping them discover, develop and live out their God given destiny.  As a Certified Pastoral Counselor, Terry is not afraid to enter into the messy places of people’s lives. He is a humble, gentle and non-judgmental counselor who offers hope and healing to those he serves.  Terry loves to read and believes that the process of becoming is a part of a life long journey.

As a lover of the outdoors, Terry enjoys the beauty of nature and the healing that beauty brings into our lives.  A grandfather to 3 (and soon to be 4), he enjoys fishing, hunting, hiking and canoeing with his grandchildren, family and friends.  He believes that friendship with God and others is the most important thing in life and is devoted to strengthening marriages, families and individuals.

If you come to see Terry, ask him about fishing for rainbow trout with his grandson.
