Dr. Rebecca Marshall is Mind & Body Christian Health Group’s licensed psychologist with a specialization in neuropsychology.
Does insurance cover psychological testing?
Psychological testing is submittable to insurance. After your services are paid out of pocket by you and considered complete by our out of network provider, we will give you a superbill to submit to your insurance company. All insurance claims and submission of these claims are the responsibility of the client. We try to make it as easy as we can for you by providing the superbill with all the information that will be required.
How much does psychological testing cost?
The testing services range from $1120-$2970. Our receptionist can schedule a free 15 minute consultation call with Dr. Marshall so that she can help you determine the appropriate testing for your situation.
How long will this process take?
Psychological testing and reporting comes in two phases. The first is testing, and depending on the needs of the person being tested, this may be scheduled over one or two days for 3-4 hours at a time. The second phase is reporting. Once the psychologist has all the information from the test along with any reports from other sources like family members and teachers, the psychological report is written and given to the client during a feedback session.
What do I do after receiving the report?
Within the report, information about mental health, learning disabilities and potential for ADHD will be addressed and shown to you. The neuropsychologist will also make recommendations, if needed, for psychotherapy, counseling, or further evaluation. As the client and/or guardian, you may do with this information as you please. At our practice, we offer psychotherapy and counseling and would be happy to connect you with one of our licensed professionals should your child need these services.
